Here we have the official Press Statement on Beyoncé being released under her father, Mathew Knowles’ Management. We are surprised but we know that Bey and Mathew are kin before business partners. We hope their father and daughter relationship grows greater than what we have seen it blossom into during the past decade. We wish luck to both Bey and Mathew in their next business ventures.

Tina Knowles: Divorce to Mathew Knowles Called Off? [News]



Tina Knowles filed for divorce from her husband, Mathew Knowles, in November 2009, one month after discovering the affair with mistress Alex Wright, who birth the younger half-brother of Beyonce, Nixon. According to TMZ, Beyonce’s mother had withdrawn her application for divorce. Well actually, neither Tina or Mathew showed up for the court date yesterday. We do not know if the two, who were married for 29 years have reconciled or not. However Mathew did show up at one of Tina’s recent Meet & Greets. We wish the Knowles family the best and hope everything will be resolved peacefully.

Mathew Knowles: Could Be Your College Professor At Texas Southern University! [News]



Beyonce’s Dad, Mathew Knowles will head back to school this fall to teach undergraduate students all about life in the entertainment industry.

The music mogul, who guided Destiny’s Child to chart success and Beyonce to a solo superstar, will revisit a lecturing role at the Texas Southern University School of Communication in Houston, which he took last year (2009).

He says, “Knowledge and empowerment are two of the greatest gifts one can give.”

Beyonce: Did Not Fire Mathew Knowles & Jay-Z Will Not Be Her Manager [Rumors]



Rumors hit the internet recently that Beyonce joined her former Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in firing her father, Mathew Knowles, as her manager. In his place, it was rumored, Beyonce would allow her business savvy rapper/mogul husband, Jay-Z, to guide her approaching-legendary career.

File this under big fat rumor, this according to Mr. Knowles’ Music World Entertainment. In a statement, the label puts the kibosh of the false info, saying, “Contrary to false rumors online, Beyoncé and her manager Mathew Knowles unequivocally have had and continue to have a close personal and business relationship. Mathew Knowles is the sole and exclusive manager of Beyoncé.”

The rumors kicked up just as news that Beyonce was heading back into the studio to get to work on her fourth studio album. She’s spending time this week with singer/songwriter Ne-Yo, who penned her Grammy-winning hit “Irreplaceable.”

Beyonce wants to turn her manager/father Matthew Knowles’ early life into a major movie. The Knowles family patriarch gave up his job as a salesman in the early 1990s to help guide his daughter and her Destiny’s Child bandmates to success.
