In honor of World AIDS Day 2009, we are bringing out another Vintage Beyonce post. Back on the 29th of November 2003 an event called the 46664 Concert was held at Green Point Stadium, Cape Town. It was hosted by Mandela and its goal was to raise awareness of the spread of HIV/AIDS in South Africa. Among other performers, Beyonce came on and sang ‘Baby Boy’ and “Dangerously In Love’.
With Beyonce scheduled to perform at tomorrow night’s MTV EMA’s 2009 in Berlin, we thought it was time again for another Vintage Beyonce post. With all the rumors floating around what song she will preform (Video Phone Remix or Sweet Dreams) we wanted to take you back to last year when Beyonce took control of the 2008 EMA show with her performance of ‘If I Were A Boy’.

We’re back with another Vintage Beyonce post and betting many of you won’t remember this classic video. Here is Lil O from Houston, Texas, part of the Screwed Up Click, and his music video for ‘Can’t Stop’ featuring Destiny’s Child.

As we reported earlier today, Megan Fox has been picked to replace Beyonce for the new face of perfume Emporio Armani Diamonds. Today we are starting a new feature on BeyonceFan.com titled Vintage Beyonce, were we will be showcasing older interviews, performances and everything Beyonce.
With the first installment we take it back to red carpet of the 2001 MTV Movie Awards. Beyonce spent the night interviewing stars on their way in to the event and had time to chat with Aaliyah about her Gucci shoes and the the artist she was most looking forward to that evening, D’Angelo. Sadly this would be one of Aaliyah’s last interviews as she passed away less then two months later on August 25, exactly 8 years ego today.
More images from the night just after the jump featuring Mark Hoppus and a costume change. (more…)
