I had the honor of watching this wonderful film last night. Here is the actual performance in the movie, where Liza Minnelli covers one of Beyonce’s most legendary songs …Single Ladies!

Wonder Woman
Why She Deserves A Movie: Listen, we get why it’s hard to bring Wonder Woman to the big screen. For one thing, she has a couple of powers that seem ready-made for Aquaman-style scorn (invisible plane! lasso of truth!). More problematically, she lives in a weird gray area of Proto-Feminist Icon and Skimpily-Dressed Bombshell. But that particularly modern gender-role confusion is even more reason for this movie to be made. Explicitly created in 1941 to break up the superhero boys’ club, Wonder Woman’s struggles in the world of men have never felt more topical.
Who Should Star: Practically every brunette actress in Hollywood has been rumored as a possibility to put on Wonder Woman’s magic bracelets. As a left-field choice, Morena Baccarin would combine the requisite amount of hot charisma (see Firefly) and imperial authority (see V.) And then there’s a really left-field choice that’s actually brilliant: Beyoncé Knowles.
Who Should Direct: Kathryn Bigelow, who is Wonder Woman.
When the most awesome girl group, the WubbGirlz, featuring Beyoncé as Shine, hosts the ‘Wuzzleburg Idol’ talent show, everybody in town wants to win the contest. If Wubbzy can wow the judges, he’ll get the chance to perform with Sparkle, Shimmer and Shine at their big concert in Wuzzlewood and maybe become a movie star. But will he remember the importance of just being himself? Join ‘Wubb-Z’, Walden, Widget and Daizy on the coolest road trip ever! Filled with singing, dancing, best friends and more! (more…)
The studio has hired up-and-coming writer Will Fetters to do a draft of the script with the aim of pushing the long-gestating project forward. A number of scribes have written previous drafts, including “Ali” writers Stephen Rivele and Christopher Wilkinson and “Notorious” scribe Reggie Rock Bythewood.
Jon Peters, Billy Gerber and Basil Iwanyk are producing the new take, with Courtenay Valenti overseeing for Warners.
“Star” centers on a showbiz ingenue who falls for an established male star, only to see their careers move in opposite directions.
Beyonce’s name has surfaced in connection with the lead role, though the pop star is not officially involved at this point. Beyonce starred as a rags-to-riches pop star in “Dreamgirls.”
Three previous versions of the project have been made, most recently in 1976, with Frank Pierson helming a version with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. That pic took the original Hollywood setting and re-set it in the music business. This version also will be set in the record industry. (more…)
The DVD you have all been waiting for has just been released! Obsessed starring our girl Beyoncé Knowles as well as Idris Elba and Ali Larter is now available on Blu-ray and DVD
. So what are you waiting for! And just in case you forgot what about this amazing film here are some screen caps to refresh your memory!

Questlove finally got some time to sit down and watch Obsessed, and he loved it! We really enjoyed watching his tweet rundown of this cinematic classic! Click here to follow beyoncefan or questo on twitter.

Idris Elba talks versatility and why he should have asked Bey for some help with his musical career when he had the chance:
“I’ve built my career brick by brick, but I didn’t start off saying, ‘Oh, I’m going to try to do as many different types of roles as possible,’ †says Elba, who last year was a London thief in Guy Ritchie’s “RocknRolla,†and currently plays Steve Carell’s no-nonsense supervisor on NBC’s “The Office.â€
“I just start off every job saying, ‘Okay, this is very different from the last one,’ and take it from there.â€
Starring alongside Beyoncé, who’s better known for her singing than her acting chops, proved a different challenge for the more experienced Elba.Ironically, Elba could have turned to the mega-music star for a little career advice himself. The former club deejay has a burgeoning music career in addition to his acting. He has produced and composed songs for the likes of Jay-Z and Angie Stone, cut a four-song EP in 2006 titled “Big Man,†and is working on a CD of his own that he hopes to release this year.
“It’s me stepping out from behind the turntables and into the room and just putting some music together,†says Elba.
“It’s a hybrid of hip hop meets reggae, meets soul, meets jazz. I do a little singing, a little rapping, a little talking. I’ve been doing this for so long, I just feel like I owe it to myself to push the music out there.â€
Yet despite all those months they spent together on the set of “Obsessed,†Elba insists he never once asked ÂBeyoncé for any feedback on his music.“I’m too proud, basically,†he says, laughing. “I’ve been deejaying long enough to know the difference between a good record and a bad one, so I just figured I’m going to do it myself.
“But that said, Beyoncé is the kind of person that would say, ‘Yo ’Dris, let me hear what you got, let me see what you’re doing,’ and maybe steer me in the right direction — if I had asked,†says Elba, laughing again. “But I didn’t.â€
