We would like to start off this special article by saying Congratulations to Beyoncé and Jay-Z. So overwhelmed with Joy for them both! We’ve watched Beyoncé grow throughout all these years. She has won so many awards and has achieved numerous goals. But we believe she has just gained her greatest gift. A child! Love ya Bey!

It’s hard to think of anything veteran VMA star Beyoncé could have done to make her Sunday (August 28) performance slot during the big show an even bigger deal. Except maybe using it to reveal that she’s pregnant.

“Tonight I want you to stand up on your feet, I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me,” Queen B said as an introduction to “Love on Top,” hinting to the world the news that she had alluded to on the black carpet just an hour before when she cradled her belly and teased that she would be making some kind of “announcement.”

Beyoncé: Is Taking Down The House At The 2011 VMA’s! [News]



Beyoncé, who instructed girls to run the world with her VMA-nominated smash song, will now run the stage at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.

The “Run the World (Girls)” singer, who has three nominations this year (including Best Female Video, Best Choreography and Best Cinematography) and is the previous recipient of nine Moonmen, including 2009′s Video of the Year award for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” will join the lineup of 2011 VMA performers, which already includes Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Young the Giant, Pitbull and Ne-Yo. Jessie J will serve as a house artist for the ceremony.

Beyoncé is InStyle’s September cover girl! After a nine-month break from touring, we catch up with the super-acheiver to talk happiness, sanity, new projects (her album 4 and her perfume Pulse), and running the world. “I sacrificed so much as a kid and as a teenager,” she says. “I have no regrets because my job kept me focused. When you’re young—18 or 19—you have the energy and drive. That’s the time to work as hard as you can. Now I’m a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage. I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children.”

Though, when she gets down time, she maximizes it. “In my free time I prefer to do nothing but sit on the couch and watch TV,” she says. “I have to confess that my guilty pleasure is Jersey Shore.” And throughout everything, she always makes time for friendship. “I am a girl’s girl. Women who don’t have female friends scare me. Tickets for each of the “4 Intimate Nights With Beyoncé” concert dates have SOLD OUT!

Eager with anticipation, fans sold the first night out in 22 seconds, and the remaining shows followed suit, selling out within a minute of going on sale.

Being one of the lucky ticket-holders, I will see my fellow #Beyoncefans at the Tuesday, August 16th show. So excited! See you there!

Beyoncé will take the stage at New York’s famed Roseland Ballroom for four nights of special performances this month. The set on each night of the 4 Intimate Nights With Beyoncé concerts will be the entire collection of her critically acclaimed album, 4

For these four special nights, August 14, 16, 18 and 19, Beyoncé will perform her new songs to a standing room only audience.

Described by music critics as her most accomplished work yet, genre busting, bold and vibrant, 4 is a platform for the star to stretch her musical tastes and showcase her pitch-perfect voice. “What matters to Beyoncé is actually the music,” states NPR. And The New York Times calls her “relentlessly perfect.”
