With the release of Beyonce’s fourth solo album, MTV is bringing viewers an inside look at the making of “4.” The half-hour special will air on Thursday, June 30 at 7:30pm EST.

Watch the sneak peek of “Year of 4″ above, in which Bey details the importance of being a successful role model for females everywhere. Beyoncé served up a double dose of entertainment on France’s “X Factor” finale. The pop powerhouse tore the roof down with a red-hot version of “Run the World (Girls),” returning later in the show with her new single “Best Thing I Never Had.”

MTV and BET are set to air the television special “Beyoncé: Year of 4,” documenting her return to the spotlight. The half-hour show premieres Thursday, June 30, at 7 p.m. EST.

Beyoncé appeared at the huge Glastonbury festival for the first time on Sunday – bringing the three-day festival to an end.
Beyoncé says headlining this year’s Glastonbury festival was a “career highlight” for her.
