Why is it that being half naked is “powerful” for a woman? Oh look, the men won again, and this time they made it seem like it was our idea. I’m not sure what having half of those strong, powerful, awesome dancers butts hanging out proved about the strength of their minds. Like I tell my daughter: some women are not confident enough to attract a man with their brains so they have to attract them with their bodies.
I’m not saying Beyonce falls under this category; she has proven herself to be a brilliant businesswomen. But please give girls like my daughter something better to look up to. Would you be okay with a 8 year old girl (or 12, or 15) thinking they have to look like they forgot their pants to be “powerful”?
Like I said, the men win again. Come on, women, we’re better than that.
