Beyoncé: Featured On American Idol Finale | Performs New Single “1+1″ [HQ Photos+Videos]



The Queen Bey performed not once but twice on tonight’s ‘American Idol’ season finale. Earlier on, she joined the ladies for a medley of her hits and barely an hour later, she returned to the stage to perform her brand new song, “1+1.” That’s what we call launching a new song to the biggest possible audience.

Performing in a haze of red lights and wearing a platinum-silver gown and loose, beachy waves, Beyoncé made love to the crowd as she belted out this lovestruck ballad. You’d have thought her hubby Jay-Z was in the front row — since she looked so adoringly at the crowd and sang the ultra romantic lyrics directly to it.

Bey also announced that this was her new favorite song before she began singing, and we’re not going to argue with her; it’s a signature Beyonce ballad and it’s softer and prettier than her current single, ‘Run the World (Girls.)’ Her only sonic accessory was the piano melody, so the song is all about Beyonce and her room-filler of a voice.

Beyoncé: Performs “Run The World (Girls)” On Oprah’s Farewell Spectacular [Video]



“Oprah, we can run the world!” said Beyoncé before saluting Oprah Winfrey during the first of her two-part “Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular.” The singer stormed the stage with her scholarly dancers, performing “Run the World (Girls)” in dedication to the media tycoon. Chicago’s United Center was on its feet by the end of her empowering performance.

Beyoncé: Hits The Press Room After Historical Night At The 2011 Billboard Awards! [HQ Photos]



“Beyoncé changes outfits for an appearance in the press room following her performance at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 22) in Las Vegas, Nev.

The 29-year-old entertainer received the Billboard Millennium Award earlier in the evening for her career achievements.

Bey gave a show stopping performance of her new single “Run the World (Girls)” and was then presented the special award by her mother Tina Knowles.”

Beyoncé: Proves She Is The Artist of The Millennium At The 2011 Billboard Awards! [News]



Last night, the Billboard Music Awards honored Beyoncé with the special “Millennium” Award for her career achievements.

Watch the clip below for the full presentation. Bey’s performance proves just how much she deserves the award.

The tribute included a video with Beyonce’s family and some of her close celeb friends: Tina, Mathew, Julez, Solange along with Stevie Wonder, Barbra Streisand, Bono, Lady Gaga & even Michelle Obama!
