I Am… Yours: Two-Night Stay No longer Needed To See Beyonce

Beyoncé Knowles’ fans have been hoping for it and today Wynn Resorts delivered it: The Encore has dropped its two-night-minimum-stay requirement for the songstress’ upcoming shows.

Prior to this afternoon’s announcement, all would-be Beyoncé ticketholders were required to book a minimum two-night hotel stay in order to secure seats at the July 30 or 31, or Aug. 1 or 2 performances.

The quartet of concerts in the 1,500-seat Encore Theater will be the final four of Knowles’ current “I am… Yours” tour.

While 90 percent of the tour is already sold out, tickets for the final Las Vegas show dates didn’t exactly fly off the rack when they went on sale in May.

With seats still available just two and a half weeks before Sasha Fierce is set to take to the intimate theaters stage, the mandatory hotel stay condition has today been lifted for Nevada residents.

With tickets alone ranging in price from $250 to $1,000 apiece, it would appear that the additional price associated with the required hotel stay proved to be too much for many of Knowles’ fans.

Thanks to today’s announcement, however, local fans may purchase up to two tickets without having to rent a room, provided they have valid ID to prove their Silver State ties.
